The building of a website.

This past week I installed an affiliate link cloaker on this website. I installed this software for two reasons. First, I can’t stand the way affiliate codes look. They are just plain ugly. Secondly, It is nobodies business what affiliate networks I belong to. Now, if you still see my affiliate codes, it is because I have not cloaked the links yet.
Link Cloaking software is a pain in the ass to install! Don’t believe it when the manufacturers of this software say it is easy. It is not. However, I believe it is a necessary tool to have to conduct business on a website.
Over the weekend I wrote 3 more pages of content for CoolSEOMD, and I installed a web page that makes it possible for screencast videos for SEO video lessons. I even shot my first instructional video!
Finally, I have not driven any traffic to this site yet. Nor have I yet to employ any of the traffic generating techniques set forth on this website. Today, I brought in a whopping 17 visitors!
I am listing all of this information for full disclosure, and hopefully to inspire people who want to build a business from a website!
